Two designers, one of whom M.E. has featured previously are launching their new collaborative venture in Cologne this week during the 2012 Designers Fair.
Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider have joined forces to create Kaschkasch studio; and their first collection of interior pieces looks superb.
It's a minimal kind of style, and the duo have mannaged to achieve the maximum out of the minimum by breaking every idea down to the essential elements.
Tables, benches, lighting and vertical storage elements all feature precise lines and geometric shapes which give them a graphical impression; but everything has been given a practical straightforwardness thanks to high grade materials and those little design details that count.
The eagle-eyed among you might spot Kallus' great 'Tamp & Lable' desk which has quite rightly found it's way into Kaschkasch's first collection too.
We think this is a very promising evolution of the 3wege Design Collective (of which Schneider and Kallus are both members) and definitely a new studio to watch.
