Made of thin strips of teak, this little lamp is just one of the pieces Italian design firm Skitsch exhibited at IMM Cologne this year.
Recalling the way light filters down to the forest floor through branches, WoodLamp's slotted trunk and shade diffuses a soft glow, creating a graphic play on natural shadows.
Designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana and available in a floor or table version, WoodLamp also comes with a message; its form rising up like a tree as a symbol of the need to reinstate the Amazon forests...
