Presented at Maison et Objet earlier this month, we're liking this set of folded cubes by designer Damien Hamon.

Made from beautiful chunks of oak, highlighted with sections of colour, the pieces can be used as little seats, tables, stoage units or simply as interior sculptures that cast shadows.

Apparently all carved in the same manner, but not quite precise and identical, they have a graphic organic-ness about them that evokes the idea of board game pieces for us.
