Here's something bright and cheerful for a Monday morning in the office by Swedish design studio Note.

This is their new 'Peep' series of storage pieces which are loosely based on the idea of screens, but layered in bright colours.

Using perforated metal, fixed with boxes and shelves at different heights and hues (a bit like Tetris) this series is a nice twist on functional office storage.

Note say:

"When working with offices and workplace environments the light from the windows are seldom sufficient, and furnishings, including desks and acoustic screens are effective barriers of light travelling through the room."

So, they how do you get boxy furniture to let more light through?

"We went for making their walls more transparent. After some material tests, we had a colourful group of characters, each with different sizes and and functions. They hold your things, and you can decide what you want to show and what not to."
