ENDY SERIES BY STUDIO VE

Take a look at this fun series of wooden furniture made in a mix of oak, eucalyptus, ash, maple, mahogany, and cherry from Studio Ve.

Exhibited during Stockholm Design Week last month, the playful forms of the chair, stool and table all showcase the usually discarded ends of timber:

"The timber's ends are the most sensitive part of the timber. In order to protect it, they are painted in sawmills. These coloured ends are removed and discarded afterwards, so the end user is not aware of them." Studio Ve explain.

But the Endy series emphasises these edges, preserving a hint of the origins of the wood and celebrate the colours.

Great for kids rooms, and rooms for big kids alike we think.
