Barcelona-based glass studio Lucirmás have just launched this 'Pure-Bottle' table set.
Founded in 2006 by Italian designer Lucia Bruni, Lucirmás Studio designs and produces sustainable glass products which aim to make the most of the charm, value and versatility of recycled glass.
Admirably, everything is hand-crafted and made using completely recycled glass as their prime material; reducing the use of pollutants in the whole process, right down to the responsibly sourced packaging their stuff comes in.
The Pure-Bottle set will be launched at this year's Milan Furniture Fair at Superstudio piú, and consists of a glass, lantern and spoon.
"Each table set is made from a recycled wine bottle which has been cut in two positions, giving new life and value to the object. The lanterns provide wind protection for candles while creating a warm ambience perfect for restaurants, cafes or home settings." say the studio.
"The glasses are simple yet durable, while making a strong ecological statement. The spoons are functional and versatile; perfect for presenting food in a restaurant, serving a salad or eating your breakfast cereal."
The studio have also just launched a brand new website, and a making-of video for the Pure-Bottle too, produced by Lisboa Audiovisual - watch it here.
