Having previously designed for names like Bisazza, Salviati, Oberflex and Droog, Parisian company 5.5 Designers have recently come up with a new interpretation of a classic in collaboration with luxury crystal house Baccarat.

Staying true to their credo which states their intention to design honest and accessible products while continuing to elevate the ordinary, their newest series of design objects entitled ‘Apparat’, twists Baccarat’s historic crystal archetypes into everyday glasses, vases and bottles.

'Apparat' pays homage to the Harcourt glass, and the collection they've designed captures the aura in filigree or gilt medallions, on glasses, carafes and vases.

The pure forms of these objects were chosen from Baccarat’s visual trademarks, and in this cultural 'mix and match' of classic icons and pure forms, nothing is lost and everything is transformed.
