He's recently been in the design press for the furniture collaboration with fashion label Acne, but Christian Halleröd has also been busy working with Daniel Östman to create 'Recycle' for TreCé.
Set to be exhibited at the 2010 Stockholm Furniture Fair which kicks off today, their Recycle furniture series is aimed at inspiring us to do more, and better, recycling via increased functionality and and unexpected use of materials.
Designed with the environment and the modern office in mind, Recycle offers an adaptable system for separating and recycling used office waste. From small batteries to large containers for paper and cardboard, Recycle comes with a labeling system that makes the process easy and consistent.
The materials used in Recycle are pure and authentic; desktops and knobs made of solid wood, together with a framework of solid coloured MDF board and steel bases make Recycle pleasant to use, easy to clean and sustainable.
Recycle is complemented with a wide range of refill components too - from large recycling bins and carts to small cardboard boxes - which are just as recyclable as its content.
