OUT OF THE ORDINARY

Faintly resembling some kind of da Vinci flying machine with all its strings and whatnot, M.E. rather likes this 'Penna' chair created by Jonaz Lutz - a student at Design Academy Eindhoven for Dutch manufacturer Leolux.

But then we started delving into what else Leolux has on offer, and we're quite impressed with the range of unusual seating, created by their roster of in-house talent, and pieces from commissioned designers.

This Gisa chair from their sculpture collection also caught our eye. Designed by Jane Worthington, it's shaped like a little swan and stands on a revolving foot which allows it to turn 360 degrees.
