Sougwen is a Canadian-born designer and illustrator, and we love what she's doing here at M.E.

In July of this year, Sougwen packed up her laptop and sketchbooks and left New York to attend Hyper Island’s Interactive Art Director program in Stockholm. By March 2010 she'll be on the lookout for an internship, but we suspect she won't be looking for long.

We're really taken by her intricate, auto-didactic organic designs, driven by "a fascination with the investigative process of seeing" - through having one mark inform the next mark. If you're curious to see Sougwen's creative process, click here to see her in action...
