Young German designer Florian Kallus is fresh from DMY Berlin having just showcased this nifty lamp and table combo.
Called 'Tamp & Lable', Kallus' passion for function, technique and material (born from a stint as a carpenter’s apprentice) shows through; tidily combining a writing desk with a desk lamp.
Made with ash wood, a 50s textile cable and a thermo-resined panel, it has an honest functionality which we like a lot here at M.E.
Currently studying and working in Münster, Germany, Kallus is also part of the 3wege design collective (with two other designers, Sebastian Schneider and Guido Brinkmann) with whom he exhibited in Berlin.
