Meet the Hansen Family; a furniture label created by young designer Gesa Hansen.

Gesa grew up with an impeccable design background - her Scandinavian family are carpenters, designers and architects.

So, quite naturally, she decided to combine new design and her family's archive of pieces in one label which she called The Hansen Family.

Producing everything in small wood ateliers using ecologically grown wood in it’s best quality, Gesa ensures every object is handcrafted and therefore unique.

We love the soft roundy shape of her solid oak coffee tables, whilst the cute factor of the Trunk cabinet (Coloured drawers! Mini coat tree inside!) is kind of off the scale.

No wonder Gesa has also been nominated for the German Designpreis 2011...
