Young Swiss designer Adrien Rovero has recently come up with this great modular sofa design for Pfister inspired by public benches with the addition of comfy upholstered slats.
A graduate of the prestigious Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, (or ECAL; where he now teaches) Rovero opened his own studio in 2006 and since then, he's been busy with both designing products and involving himself in the academic side of things too.
Rovero has also exhibited in galleries like Kreo and Libby Sellers, as well as collaborating with established companies such as Hermès and Droog.
Plus, his works already stand in public collections of the Pompidou in Paris and the Grand Hornu in Belgium.
Not bad going so far - and we expect there's much more to come from this young design talent
