OKKO BIRD FEEDER BY EMIR RIFAT ISIK

Young designer Emir Rifat Isik is currently a student of Industrial Design at Marmara University in Istanbul, and has recently created this 'Okko' bird feeder for the garden or terrace.

Fabricated in ceramic, the small structure can be used in two ways, providing a couple of different habitats for birds. Emir has envisioned 'Pool World' and 'Green World' concepts for Okko, allowing the feeder to be used in different locations.

The 'Pool World' concept has been designed to be hung over a balcony (or under an open garden structure like a gazebo) and includes extra perches and a little bird pool.

The 'Green World' concept has been aimed at garden usage, and by placing Okko on a post, it can also be used as a pot, generating noticiable green spots for birds as well as an attractive focal point.
