Set for publication in April from Gestalten, 'Ruby' is the title of the latest project by young Buenos Aires-based curator, editor and artist Irana Douer.
The book collects current work by sixty five talented young artists with two things in common: Douer has worked with them in the last five years, and they all depict or conjure up surreal otherworldliness in their art.
Using this theme, 'Ruby' presents captivating work at the nexus of contemporary visual culture and art.
Whether in the form of fantastically realistic photography, alluring illustration and painting, impossible spaces, or bizarre sculpture, each featured artist explores a world that may, or may not exist...
