Some design studios spend months and months just honing one piece, but Groupa Studio have recently emerged from a 10 week marathon of fresh ideas.
'Piece Per Week' is the result - a project which encompasses lighting, storage, Ikea hacks, seating, tables and fake cake.
Initiated by Groupa studio who spent the time rummaging through drawers, sketches, experiments, materials, shapes, planning, executing, shooting, and pricing, they've come up with a selection of playful designs.
Groupa studio was founded in the beginning of 2010 by three industrial designers - Eran Shimshovitz, Yiffa Levin and Chen Guiterman. Following their graduation from H.I.T (the Holon Academic Institute of Technology in Israel) each designer took their own course, their paths crossing again four years later to form their own studio.
As a result of it's members' diverse experience, Groupa offers a wide range of design services, from product design to furniture design, styling, illustrations and is currently in the process of developing it’s own new line of products.
We can't wait to see what they'll come up with; although we assume they'll give themselves longer than a week...
