Take a look at this 'Ave' stool by young Mexican designer Moises Hernandez.
Inspired by bird flight, the form of the stool features a seat representing the body of the bird, and the legs share the gentle curve of wings in movement.
Made in Corian, Ave has a dynamic shape that elegantly explores the properties of the thermoformed material; and this choice also means the stool can be used both indoors and out.
We've featured Moises' work before here on M.E. and he's developing into a designer to watch - we think with each project, his ideas and realisations become more and more refined.
Check out his earlier projects; a neon fruit bowl inspired by lakes, and a set of playful candlesticks in the form of fireworks here and here.
