Miu Miu was all about the cute, the short, and that alluring, enduring quirky Edie Sedgewick aesthetic.
If Prada's ladylike show was the sexy, sophisticated femme fatale, then Miu Miu was the fun younger sister with pop and verve.
Embellished mini-dresses, with high necks and even higher hemlines, appeared in purples, bold oranges and beiges, although black was the foil tone for most of the show.
Other retro references were square-toed pumps, fluffy coats, and plenty of Twiggy-esque skinny bows at the neck.
We liked this collection for the way that it took a definite era and twisted into a young modern selection - typically Mrs Prada, classic Miu Miu, and ultimately; most likely destined to be a hit on the shop floor.
